Petroleum fuels create harmful emissions like carbon monoxide, nitrous oxides, and particulate matter, all of which degrade the environment. Using alternative fuels in vehicles will decrease or eradicate these emissions.
Alternative fuels are also cleaner-burning and renewable, so they put little relative strain on the environment. LPG and CNG are fuels that when burned, emit much less pollutants (than gasoline) including carbon monoxide, unburned hydrocarbons, sulfur dioxide, particulates and volatile organic compounds. There is no lead, almost no sulfer and no significant particulates. LPG does not contribute to photochemical smog, which is responsible for the high concentration pollution in our cities. The level of fine powder particulates PM10 and PM2.3 emissions (those responsible for the restricting of urban traffic) in LPG and CNG are considered practically absent.
Converting your car or truck to run on alternative fuel is a most ecologically responsible and economically sound solution. Installing an LPG or CNG fuel system on your vehicle significantly reduces fuel costs and maintenance costs. The savings compared to gasoline are big.
