ASCi High Pressure Regulators

ENSIDA “ ASCi high pressure” regulators have been developed on the experience maturated in 3 World Championship seasons on the IMEGA Alfa Romeo racing car. The key points are the special composition of the alloy league of the body, result of a complex research about metals heat conductivity, and the design of the internal chamber. Our regulators work at higher pressure compared with gaseous LPG injections actually available on the market, The results obtained have been outstanding, almost matching an injection system at liquid phase. The combination of the new solutions have as final result a supercompact design and dimensions compared with the high performance and the capability to keep the pressure constant and “at the limit of liquid”  even under high demand of power. No pulses, no missing power.

pressure-sensor The LPG Switch allows the driver to commute the vehicle from gasoline mode to LPG mode and viceversa, with a single pressure of a finger. Integrated in the switch are the LPG tank fuel level LED indicator and the onboard diagnostic to advise the driver of a problem. If the issue afflict the correct functioning of the engine or the quality of the emissions the system automatically turn on gasoline mode.

With pride, we think we have the most powerful, flexible and efficient LPG/CNG electronic  management on the market. That’s why we christened our module with “that” name. Developed on the racing field, for mono or bi-fuel applications, this unit, equipped with a powerful CPU 80486 = 16 bits-64Mhz and 3 additional mathematical co-processors computing more than 40 million instructions per second, has memory enough to obtain 0 interpolation at full data demand in any condition managing a 12 cylinder high revving engine. Is also expansible to 16 cylinders. Such accuracy is translated in efficiency and response, matching or exceeding the OEM side map. The flexibility of extra outputs available for different configurable functions make this unit unique for Special Projects applications like, for example, the full management of a LPG injection in liquid phase.

ENSIDA "NIMITZ" software is our real secret weapon. Specifically developed for racing, the version for the Alternative fuel market has endless possibility. Compared to the usual, even if more sophisticate, self learning “plug and play” package offered by the Competitors, ENSIDA "NIMITZ" software has an active reading from the OBD protocol interacting and optimizing the MAP calibration.

Over 100 additional strategies give to the operator the opportunity to have full control. Calibration and strategies are applicable on each single cylinder if needed. OBD active reading give to the programmer all the tools to correct any glitch in performance or consumption. Additional strategies has been added to correct the fuel management algorithms  to easily match or exceed EPA test requirements. Other functions as FLEET MANAGEMENT; OEM sensor configuration; panels for extremely hot or cold environment; active diagnosis of the components and many more make ENSIDA "NIMITZ" software unique in the alternative fuels electronics.


ENSIDA EVO II Injectors

The result of the racing experience with high revving engines.- ENSIDA “EVO II” injectors have been developed for the LPG high pressure injection at gaseous phase;

  • The unique aluminum body and contained size allow a simple placement in the exhaust manifold;
  • The accuracy of the response and the special metal composition of the needle allow to obtain LPG injection times matching OEM side times.
  • The high precision and the reduced response time, in addition to reduced noise and good maintenance over time, make the ENSIDA “EVO II” a state-of-the art and extremely accurate injector.
  • Can be easily rebuilt or inspected for service
  • Available in 2 and 3 Ohms.

Liquid propane gas is the most efficient fuel operating today. This means less vehicle maintenance and longer engine life.  LPG vehicles produce fewer emissions by far than gasoline. Modern LPG conversions have little or no emissions during fueling. In gasoline vehicles, fueling emissions account for at least 50% of a vehicle’s total hydrocarbon emissions.
